We invite you to support this exceptional community event that benefits Marian Cancer Care patients and families at Mission Hope Cancer Center. On August 21, hundreds of community volunteers will man street intersections throughout the Santa Maria Valley with a mission to ask drivers passing by to roll down their car windows and purchase a $1.00 Day of Hope newspaper. One hundred percent of all Day of Hope proceeds stay in the community, benefiting cancer programs and support services for patients and families.

Day of Hope Proceeds Directly Support:

Patient Outreach Needs — Meeting the needs of patients and families struggling to make ends meet.

Equipment & Technology —To ensure that the most advanced medical treatments and technologies are available, locally.

Programs & Services —Nutritional support, education, counseling, support groups, etc., all offered at no charge to patients and families.

As one of only three accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Center programs between Los Angeles and San Francisco, Mission Hope Cancer Center features advanced, lifesaving technology and physicians from the nation’s top medical schools and training programs. This state-of-the-art cancer center is the first and only integrated oncology facility on the Central Coast, uniting Santa Maria oncology treatment, imaging, research, education, and support services at one convenient location for patients and families.
