Cancer not only affects those with the disease; it affects an entire community. This is why Marian Regional Medical Center, in partnership with the Santa Maria Times, is proud to present the Day of Hope event on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. We invite you to support this exceptional community event that benefits Marian Cancer Care patients and families at Mission Hope Cancer Center. On August 21, hundreds of community volunteers will man street intersections throughout the Santa Maria Valley with a mission to ask drivers passing by to roll down their car windows and purchase a $1.00 Day of Hope newspaper. One hundred percent of all Day of Hope proceeds stay in the community, benefiting cancer programs and support services for patients and families.
